What information do we collect?
When you post a brief, we collect the name, campaign details, audience market, platforms, budget, deadline, and contact information you provide for review, communication, and listing the opportunity. Creator applications collect display name, niche, audience market, profiles, content description, reference rate, and contact information for review and matching. Contact messages collect your name, contact method, topic, and message only to process and reply.
What data does the browser extension read and send?
The Brand Deal Buddy browser extension works only when the user actively opens it and requests a rate estimate. It reads information already publicly displayed on the currently open Threads, X, YouTube, or TikTok creator profile, such as account name, username, profile URL, follower count, and public recent-content metrics including views, likes, replies, and shares. Data needed for the estimate is sent to the Brand Deal Buddy valuation API (jiedanfadan-value-api.juejiangfm.workers.dev). The extension does not read passwords, private messages, contacts, payment information, precise location, full browsing history, or non-public account content; it does not execute remote code, use the data for ad targeting, or sell it to third parties.
Will my contact information be public?
By default, the contact method is published with a campaign brief unless the poster turns off the public-contact option. If public display is disabled, Brand Deal Buddy forwards inquiries manually.
How long is information retained?
Briefs with a clear deadline are hidden from the opportunity board after that date. Hidden does not mean deleted: information may remain in review records or campaign data. Deletion requests are handled by an administrator, and public versions may persist in search caches or version history. Contact us to request deletion.
How can I request a change or deletion?
Please use the same contact method you submitted and Contact us send a request describing the brief or profile that should be changed or deleted. After identity verification, we will process it as soon as practical. If the online form is unavailable, you can also email [email protected].
Do you sell my information to third parties?
We do not sell personal information. Forms are delivered through a third-party email forwarding service, which may process data under its own privacy policy.
Who is responsible for creator profile information?
Creators are responsible for the profiles, audience information, rates, and descriptions they submit. With their consent and after review, names, profiles, descriptions, audience information, and rates may be used for matching or display. Private contact details are not published automatically and require appropriate authorization before being shared with a potential partner. Verify information independently before collaborating.
How are USD exchange rates used?
The English browser extension and rate calculator fetch a public CNY-to-USD reference rate from api.frankfurter.dev only to convert the displayed estimate into USD. No creator profile data is sent to the exchange-rate service. If the service is unavailable, the English tools use a dated fallback reference rate.
